I hope you had a perfectly delightful weekend (and Father’s Day, if applicable).
My weekend was busy much like last weekend’s. We went out Friday night, I worked Saturday 8:30-3:30, yoga at 4:30, dinner guests at 7:30, bedtime at 11:30, yoga Sunday morning at 8:30, work from 11:00-7:00, dinner with Billy’s family at 7:30…
((I woke up several times last night with a dry cough and stuffy nose.))
And that brings me to this morning. No yoga. No bike ride. Just some me-time with a cup of tea, my laptop, and a list of things to do before work. Monday morning at “my office”, if you will. I enjoy creating my own productive environment. So here I am.
Friday night’s plans included the Dallas Arts District Summer Block Party, including a debut of food trucks in Dallas, and a free concert at the Dallas Museum of Art.
The Dallas Opera House. We’ve been here before. Remember?
A snow cone truck makes a happy Bird.
We headed over the the DMA to see The Polyphonic Spree in concert. They are a Dallas-based band with Tim DeLaughter from Tripping Daisy as the lead singer, and something like 20 members who play instruments, sing, and dance. Very entertaining!
From our view… zoomed in.
It was really hot and really crowded. We managed to find a small space to stand.
I stand a lot. More to come on that topic…
If you had all the money in the world, what’s one luxury you’d pay for?
A daily foot massage.
Do you have food trucks in your city? What’s your favorite food truck item?
Have a great day!
