This is my final recap for this particular trip to New York City. It’s been a welcome distraction to create these posts since I’m still under the weather. Have I mentioned that I HATE being sick? That’s right. I have. Moving on…
Weather can change in what seems like the blink of an eye.
When it’s 64 and sunny, I have no choice but to run outside.
I can run longer and stronger in Central Park than most other places. Might have something to do with the scenery.
With the most gorgeous weather, and an open day ahead of you, just set on foot and see where you end up. Perhaps the New York Public Library.
Entertain yourself while waiting a few minutes for the library to open at noon. (Usually opens earlier, but delayed due to previous weather conditions.)
Taking photos in certain parts of the library is prohibited. Just play the dumb tourist card, but don’t mention how much you love the library because that’s where Carrie and Big were supposed to get married. (SATC.)
Don’t stay inside too long when you have a day like this outside:
No trip to NYC anywhere is complete without a trip to Whole Foods for some picnic food. Even in London!
The views from the High Line are even better than I remembered.
With 4 lululemon locations in Manhattan (and another opening soon!), I felt compelled to stop by the one in Union Square on our walk back to the hotel.
It’s always sad for me to leave New York City, but it makes it easier when your husband already has your next trip planned to return.
Tell me one thing you are looking forward to this week!
I’m looking forward to running again once I’m feeling more energetic, and celebrating a dear friend’s birthday.
