there was a couple who fell madly in love. (photos below taken just over 3 yrs ago)
then they traveled around, moved to an island in Belize, moved home to Dallas, endured a family tragedy, fell deeper in love, got engaged, got married in a small (surprise) private ceremony, traveled through Europe for an extended honeymoon, and somehow settled into a comfortable routine in Dallas…
but they return to Manhattan every chance they get to soak up the energy of the city. we’re heading there today to celebrate Billy’s birthday weekend, and to get a hearty dose of the city we very well might call home come April. (!)

My favorite travel companion is Scott – I miss him so much when I travel for work, so the rare times we do travel together, the sheer thought of holding his hand on the plane ride gives me goosebumps

I am a carry on girl through and through!! We passed virtually over thin air today as I flew home, I am thinking 
thank you! I’m in the air right this minute. landing in nyc in an hour or so.
Of course y’all bring the sunshine! Have so much fun and if you’re in NYC, we have a visit planned that way for September.
P.S. we’re always carry-on people unless we’re traveling internationally or for more than a week or so. Obviously, you know my favorite travel partner in crime

we did carry-on only to aruba one time – it is possible!! we did get hassled at security – they did not believe we could have no luggage for a vacation!
