good morning! did you have a happy weekend?
we went to Tillman’s Roadhouse for dinner with friends on Saturday night. after having had a delicious experience there in December, we were really looking forward to this meal. unfortunately, I’m the only one who actually enjoyed mine. maybe an off night in the kitchen? the ambience and great company made up for the lacking food.
for me: pepita-crusted salmon served with root vegetable succotash, golden beet puree, blood orange coulis, micro “rainbow” greens. for Bee: post oak smoked pork ribs served with citrus chipotle barbeque sauce and bacon-cheddar mac & cheese.

for the table: red velvet cake – three layer cake, cream cheese icing, candied pecans, blood orange ice cream, toys. (description from the menu) and there he is, our toy:

Sunday brought a sunny morning run, an afternoon bike ride to the park for a picnic,

and an evening yoga practice & screening of The Happy Movie for a lululemon event.

big thanks to my friends at Love Grown Foods for supplying us with mini bags of LOVE for our goodie bags! always a crowd-pleaser.

I have not seen the film! but I am going to add it to my list! I love how you tend to get salmon when you go out to eat…that is by far, my #1 go to! WHEN we meet up when you are thisclose over in NYC, we must go out to dinner, order salmon and delicious wine. that is all

I definitely tend to get salmon at restaurants. It’s my go-to. And yes! the thought of having dinner and wine with you (and your sis!) is so exciting.
What a fun event!
I just moved to Omaha and there is a Lululemon showroom here. I will definitely have to see if they have any fun things like that!

it’s very much in line with the lululemon culture – Chip loved the documentary so much that we’re selling copies at the store!
I thought happiness was that cake, but you clearly proved me wrong. What an inspiring movie!
