today is National Peanut Butter Lovers’ Day – eat peanut butter today if you love it. (but eat peanut butter everyday if you love it.)
March is National Nutrition Month – “get your plate in shape” with nutrition tips from the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. (but get your plate in shape everyday because you love your body and want to live a long, healthy, active, fun life.)
tomorrow, March 2nd, is National Read Across America Day in honor of Dr. Suess’ birthday. I’ll be reading the end of The Happiness Project, and Green Eggs & Ham. (but find time to read everyday if it makes you happy.)
St. Patrick’s Day, a largely celebrated holiday in Dallas, is on Saturday, March 17th. wear green, feast, drink copious amounts of alcohol, and watch a parade. it’s not my favorite day, but we partook in some activities last year. read about that here.

March’s birthstone is aquamarine. this is timely since aquamarine is a color we currently have at lululemon. I love it.
and flower of the month for March is the daffodil. also known as narcissus. you’re so vain. you probably think this post is about you.

what’s on your radar for March 2012?

aw, you wrote a WHOLE POST about ME??
my ‘goals’ are different right now: find a perfect house. get my dad out of the hospital. take a much needed escape to wine country (soon!).
…and for an upcoming baby shower, buy my favorite children’s book… Green Eggs and Ham crossed my mind.

yes! of course I did. actually, I could easily write a whole post (or a book?) about you and your incredible talent and loving, generous heart. <3
happy house-hunting! I can imagine how exciting that must be. you can never go wrong with Dr. Suess…
I had to come back to tell you that song was in my head all day!! I love Carly – that song is one of my karaoke standards

ha! I love Carly, too. and so glad you came back. maybe you noticed I fixed my typo from earlier. VAIN. not VANE…as in the weather variety. let’s karaoke when we do finally meet, ok?

you simply must treat yourself to a new outfit (or 2!) for teaching! one of the girls at our store is an instructor at The Bar Method here in Dallas. she loves teaching in our clothes. duh.
BABY is on the radar for this month! didn’t know the color is aquamarine. pretty!

Hooray for pb day! I am enjoying some on a juicy apple right now!
My theme for march is FUN – to have, to be, to seek out as much fun as possible!
I love dr seuss books!!

I celebrated peanut butter lover’s day with a few too many peanut butter spoons. At least they were baby spoonfuls!

Clever little compilation here
I was reading the Happiness Project this time last year, loved it. Right now I’m slowly getting through “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle”, and counting the days until the National Half (which actually happens to be ON St. Patty’s day)!
