a planned 3-mile run yesterday morning turned into 4+. it was just so pretty, and running in a different city is always exciting since everything is new to my eyes.
breakfast at the hotel, then we set out on our bikes for hours.

a trip to the park, complete with farmers market. I’m obsessed with the moss.

beautiful old mansions & churches.
cruised around all of the historic squares, and stopped into a cemetery, aka a park.

hi again to the horses & lunch at a café in the city market.

follow the leader.

down to the riverfront with a street festival & market.

we’d seen all we wanted of Savannah, so we took off for an afternoon in Hilton Head.

after some time at the beach with our feet in the sand, we rode our bikes around.
we got back in the car & headed to the Sea Pines Resort area.
and ended up at the Quarterdeck Restaurant.

a bev & a crab cake snack.

a long, glorious day! any day that begins with a run is always great.
we ordered dinner to-go and drove just over an hour to Hampton, SC where we stayed last night. we’re currently on our way to Augusta, Georgia to attend the final round of the Masters. no phones, no cameras, all golf, all day. I’m really excited! and if I’m really excited, there are no words for Billy’s state of mind.

Happy Easter!
see y’all tomorrow with a recap from our experience today.
