Bee

Billy is my husband. I call him Bee. He calls me Bird. How Bird Met Bee.

In October 2009, we followed our dream to move to an island, and set off for the town of San Pedro on the island of Ambergris Caye, Belize. We intended to stay for at least 6 months, but the sudden loss of Billy’s father in December 2009 brought us back to Dallas sooner than planned. Billy is running his family’s real estate business. He’s also an attorney. And a writer, Director of Sales & Marketing, enthusiastic cook, seasoned traveler, and a really good fantasy football player.

We advocate Active Living, and have learned that Inspiration Breeds Inspiration.

We love picnics so much that I wrote An Ode to Picnics.

He makes me laugh and he’s taught me a lot about my A-billy-ties.

We prioritize and make decisions to be Happy & You Know It.

We were Beautifully Engaged on May 12, 2010 in Napa Valley on a sunrise hot air balloon ride, followed by a road trip down Highway 1 from San Francisco through Big Sur, San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles.

We are blessed with wonderful friends and family who Showered us with gifts on August 21, 2010 and gave us An Austin Bon Voyage on September 11, 2010.

The next day, 4 months from the day of our engagement, we had our Official Wedding Ceremony on September 12, 2010.

On September 13th, we set off for a 24-day European adventure and I kept Blogging While Traveling.

During our time at Lake Como, we had A Purple Wedding Day To Remember.

Our Travels are very dear to us, and we travel whenever the opportunity arises.

During the fall of 2010, we trained together and ran the Dallas White Rock Half Marathon on December 5, 2010. It was the first race for both of us, and we ran in loving memory of his father who passed away December 2, 2009.
