Most people think of gifts and they envision something that a person wants for their birthday or whatever occasion and usually something they ask for. What many people don’t know is you can give plastic surgery as a gift for someone. It’s actually pretty typical for someone to give the gift of plastic surgery to someone. Of course this will vary from clinic to clinic on who accepts or sells these types of gift cards, but it’s extremely possible. There are a few ways in which you can give someone the gift of plastic surgery.
How do you give the gift of surgery to someone?
The first way in which you can give the gift of plastic surgery to someone is by finding a facility that both sells and accepts plastic surgery gift cards. In most cases, these same clinics will allow the gift cards to be redeemed for a variety of services such as:
- Laser hair surgery. As most gift cards are typically sold in amounts of a hundred, and laser hair removal can cost just a few hundred dollars, this makes the perfect gift to give someone.
- Botox injections. As these are much cheaper than actual under the knife procedures, these procedures make for a great way to redeem a gift card.
- Breast enlargements. These are a relatively simple procedure and another great gift idea.
Most gifts that are capable of being redeemed by a gift card for plastic surgery are one’s that are simple and don’t require a lot of work. However, many offices that participate in allowing patients to use gift cards and sells them, they will also allow them to be used for things such as consultation services and other billing related items.
Doctors often recommend that if you’re giving plastic surgery as a gift then it’s recommended not doing it as a surprise. If you know someone who wants to have plastic surgery done or is thinking about it, then its best to give it as a gift they know about. That way you can find a clinic that participates in the procedures and their getting what they want. Gift cards aren’t necessarily allowed for all procedures and at all clinics. Therefore, it’s in your best interest to speak to a staff member about what the gift card might be allowed for and what it’s not allowed for.
Giving the gift of plastic surgery also allows the person receiving the gift to find a doctor they’re comfortable with and for the services they want. It can be in the best interest of the person who intends to give the gift of plastic surgery as well as the one receiving it to check around for doctors who they’re comfortable having a procedure done with. It might be in the best interest of placing the entire cost if not the cost of a consultation on the gift card so the patient isn’t stuck with a bill.
